Sorry guys.
Need to clarify the mistake made with regard to the statement I made about being able to advance to the next stage of the Adventure Badge.

Only Xiao Yu, Zhi Ping, Chee Keen and Cher Han would be able to qualify for the advanced badgework.

Pls refer to the comment made by Mr. Oi at the

Thanks.

Hey dudes.

Well, this is from HQ.
There would be a PFM meeting at BBHQ on 9th Feb. Details, I'm not sure.
But the PFM projects left would only be LDC2 Trainers and AQ Helper.
All those in AQ will be doing LDC2.
They are: Alwyn, Jeremy, Cher Han.

All those not in AQ... I don't care..
OK kidding.
Those not in AQ would have to serve as AQ helpers.
Other stuff, I not very sure.

Those who take part in AQ qualify to advance 1 stage higher in terms of Adventure Badge.

I guess that's all.

Song..

GONG XI FA CAI

Happy Chinese New Year to all.
I think because of this festive season, we'll miss one week of training. I probably will be the only one feeling sad. Anyway, there are a few matters I have to address.

1. Registration.
I would like to tell u that the following people still have not given me their forms.

LCP Jing Han
SGT Lim Chee Keen
SGT Wu Xiao Yu

The two dudes have a part of the form missing.

SGT Harold
SSG Jeremy
(I'll be giving you two the page 2 to sign.)

Wednesday will be the last day. Give it to me during the Recruits Introduction parade. Any later, your position in the team would be placed under extreme scrutiny.
I really need the forms back so that I can hand in to BBHQ and so we can get our race information ASAP.

Feel free to look for me at class 4H to get the registration forms.
Hand in to me yourself. I am not a personal newspaper dog.
It is your responsibility to give me the forms.
I'll be returning you guys your kayaking and first aid certs. We will use the 32A forms instead as some jokers lost or threw their forms away.

2. Trainings
Trainings have been heavily compromised because of recruitment and Chinese New Year. So it will begin right after the recruit introduction parade. On the 4th of Saturday. It would be a biking training by SGT Wu Xiao Yu.
More details revealed later. Stay tuned.

TRAINING DATES FOR THE MONTH OF FEB:

4th, 7th, 10th/11th, 14th, 17th/18th, 21st, 24th

Pls refer to your handouts. Although 14th is valentine's we will still have training, regardless of how much your female counterpart misses you. One of these dates is an especially special date. My Birthday. So maybe there's a possibily you might get to 'do me in'.

I would want all of you to come for all trainings. No lame excuses pls.

3. Budget Team
I would like to tell Cherng Ru, Kah Kee and Joel.
Your deadline has been extended to 4th Feb. Pls show me something decent. I have given you guys a lot of information already.

Cherng Ru, I hope u show better attitude by working more dilligently on the proposal. There'll be 'hell to pay' if you guys dun finish in time.
Pls show more initiative to do the proposal. There's a reason I gave you guys 3 weeks.
If your computer is not working, you can always use the school's labs. They're open after sch. I did that last year.

Kah Kee and Joel, it doesn't mean that you can't do the proposal without cherng ru's help. I want it to be a combined effort.

If not, I guess there's nothing else for now.

Ciao.

Tuesday, January 17, 2006

Evening Gentlemen.

I have a piece of news for you guys. Remembered when I mentioned about the training before Chinese New Year? On the 27th of Jan? Well.
After checking with Mr. Poh, it is confirmed that the training would not take place.
It is to prevent you guys from getting injured before Chinese New Year.

IT'S CANCELLED.

So that= NO TRAINING ON 27TH OF JANUARY

That's announcement number 1.

2. I want all the Adventure Quest Registration Forms to be in by next parade, on the 21st of Jan. No one should be late. On the 20th, I will already begin collecting the forms. So if you don't give your SIGNED forms to me, I'll slaughter you.

3.The Rappelling CLinic will be on the 21st of Jan. I've said this before many times. So if you guys weren't too busy looking at netball girl(s), you'd remember that the 21st is a parade. A drill test for some of the Boys too. So, for those in Day Dress,

PLS BRING YOUR BB POLO TEE, and black shorts.
HQ regulations requires all Boys to be in white socks.
PLS BRING YOUR NAME TAGS.
Water bottle and other stuff--Optional

The Clinic is at BB/GB Campsite in Sembawang. We will go there after parade. Everyone who has put their name down i.e. Signed up for the clinic MUST go. If not, a reserve will stand in for them.
If that's the case, I want an M.C. Or a Death Certificate.

4. The Next training would be on the 24th of Jan. Which is next Tuesday. It'll be a short PT session after school. If possible, I want to begin collecting your Registration Forms. Like that, it will save us a lot of money. Registrations fees for a team are $420.

Attire: Blue PT Kit, NCOs field rank.
Things to bring: Water supply 1.5 litres or so.
Meet @ School Concourse.

Details: Short training around school vicinity. Remember our first training? Something like that. We can explore more places...

5. Budget Proposal guys, you had better started your work. I'll be checking on you guys very soon. P.S. Cherng Ru, please put your 'never give up' spirit into the Budget Proposal.

6. And I'd like to commend LCP Ming Jun for his good work with this Blog. 'Cos he has been helping me set up a tag board and making a blog skin, which he assures me is very nice. I trust that maybe this Lime Greenness would be replaced with something more attractive.

7. I'd like to caution you guys. If you comment or tag, pls leave your real name. I hope there will be no personal attacks on this Blog. This is for Adventure Quest ONLY. If you want to critcise any aspect of this Blog or our plans, feel free to email me @ coolboi_bb@hotmail.com. Otherwise, zip up your smart mouth.

8. The entire AQ is obliged to offer their services and time to this cause. We are just biding our time, waiting to transport the trophy back to Anglican High.

I'll be posting again if I can remember what I forgot.

P.S.

There has been a lack of discipline during the trainings, especially the juniors. KK, pls, less of the smart mouth. And I would like you guys to regard each other with respect. You're gonna race with him.
The face beside you would rescue you if you capsize or if you need a plaster.

I want everyone to pay attention when anybody is talking. Especially during meetings. If you want me to release you guys, then let me finish.

Cheers,

Song Leng

Welcome Gentlemen.

This is the Blog of the propective Adventure Quest 2006 winning team.
The race was designed for us to take the helm this year and for us
to bring the trophy back to Anglican High School.
"Champions of Boys' Brigade Annual Adventure Quest 2006."

Yeah.
Now in order to realise that magnificent fantasy, this blog has been made to
cater to our needs and drive. This would serve as a portal for me to disseminate information to the Boys.

It would have links to the Boys' Brigade HQ website, for detailed specifics about the race.

Please come here regularly. Feel free to send me pictures or offer me help in maintaining this place. Especially those guys who have girls who are exceptionally good at blogging.

Your Friendly Team Captain,
SSG Lau Song Leng
