Sometime during June- July last year.....

8 months ago, around 20 boys from all levels were selected to participate in AQ '07. Some were reluctant, some were neutral and others were enthusiastic about it. During the course of the training, some of us gave up, the others persevere, enduring through the long and tiring training sessions. Those that stayed on are those who wished to win, and they were right.

During the course of these 8 months, many problems arose due to unexpected circumstances and my wrong judgments. Many of these were solved while others remain hidden. Meanwhile, leaders arose among the midst of us, slackers too showed their true self. Most of us must have been through some ups and downs in the process, and to be honest, AQ '07 started with high morale and spirit, due to the lost we suffered. However, the awfully long training duration had wore out our morale, losing the motivation to train.

Nonetheless we began to pick ourselves up when the test is near. The time when our hard work is put to test had arrived. We knew this year is the year we break the barrier of losing, and we knew we can do it and we did. I must thank everyone from Mr Poh to even Xin Kai to make AQ '07 a success. Everyone has put in their best effort to win this AQ, even though there will be losses and wins in a game or competition. Some of us taste the fruit of victory while others lost with regrets. Losing gves motivation, winning gives satisfaction. What's so bad about it when we got both motivation and satisfaction?

Last but not least, I hope this AQ can let everyone experience and learn something new, regardless winning or losing. Assisting you guys winning the relay category is the last thing I could do and i wish future captain/chairman would be able to carry on the success and foundation our predecessors had established. All the best to you guys. Goodbye.

Final request from Chairman '07: AQ'07 will end unless everyone from sec 2-3 hands in their reviews regarding the training sessions that started this year.

"Winning is not everything, but want to win is"

Chairman '07 singing off......once and for all.
