" To be a winner you keep your feet under your chin. Bloody or not, you fight for what you earned and you earn every inch that you earned. Only you and god know what desires are in the fire of your veins and the sweat on your palms. My mom always told me to never let any man tell me I wasn't good enough or smart enough. Look at yourself in the mirror… it's you and you... no one can touch you…. You're invincible!"

Our Attitude towards Adventure Race 2007

Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.
- T.S. Eliot

We know how far we can go and the only place we wanna go is to be on the stage holding our trophies

Trust your hopes, not your fears.
- David Mahoney

Can someone tell me what do we fear? I don't seem to find THAT in our dictionary.

Success is never final and failure never fatal. It's courage that counts.
- George F. Tilton

As long as we've put in the effort, the determination, it doesn't really matter if we win or not. What matters is we will grow stronger each time as we fail.

Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is.
- Vince Lombardi

This should be our spirit, period. Our sole purpose is to claim the trophy as ours, the last thing we want to do is to be back home empty handed. Think about it, we are fighting for the pride of not only our company, but also for the sake of personal glory and honour. FOR GLORY AND HONOUR! FOR WE SHALL CLAIM THE TITLE AS OURS!

As with previous years, the course remains a secret until the evening before the race starts, and is announced during the pre-race briefing. For the Adventure Quest 2007, participants will accept the challenge of navigating through route on foot and be required to carry out tasks involving possibly the following disciplines:

1. Running/Hiking (both Road and Trail Running)
2. Orienteering (Map Navigation)
3. Kayaking
4. Rappelling (aka Abseiling)
5. Rock Wall Climbing
6. Mountain Biking
7. Team Biathlon (2 Bike, 2 Run)
8. Archery
9. Mystery Test (Mental Challenge - Problem Solving Tests)

All teams will complete the same route, which will be separated into 3 legs. For the Boys Relay Team, the team will be split into 3 groups, each group having to complete 1 leg of the course.

Training session

There will be no training session on Saturday ( 10.3.07) and Tuesday (13.03.07). This is not only to give everyone time to finish their homework, but also to let you all prepare for the final mock race+ camp. Everyone is encouraged to purchase a hydration pack during the holidays.

Training will start of the first week, tuesday, when the school reopens. We will most likely do other exercises beside our routine run. I hope everyone will be ready for the real AQ on 31st March.

May the force be with you.
