Hello everyone, this is concerning about the recent issues that has happened.

Year 2007, a new year for everyone of us, especially for the current sec 3. Many of the current sec 3s have been looking towards this year for a long while, because they are able to wear the much 'prestigious' long pants. Of course, this is a good thing. However, in my opinion, the sec 3 has separated into 2 distinct groups since the beginning of the year. I shall further elaborate of the current situation we are facing now.

Firstly, the first group I have observed is the A.P. group. This group of sec 3, after acquiring their long pants, think they are almighty. They are conveying the message, " hey, I'm wearing the godlike long pants, wThBbQPwnzorz anyone regardless juniors or seniors. " They are the one who think that anything is possible when they are wearing their long pants. I must admit they are right, but to a very limited extent.

Tell me what is the purpose of wearing long pants, tell me what is the purpose of becoming a member of so-called upper sec. It is there to recognize you as a mature teenager, able to differentiate what is right from the wrong.

However, some of these sec 3s aren't putting their status to a good use. They are still being as childish as before. Seeing such actions exist in our company, or rather, our school really saddens me. What for giving you the status and right yet you are acting as though you are not. Furthermore, the acts of disobeying the seniors or even criticizing them happen really often nowadays. There are several factors which cause this to happen. In my view, the possible reasons are :

1) the particular group of sec 3 think they are almighty
2) The current leaders are not strict enough
3) The sec 4s do not present themselves as good role models
4) the sec 3s are rebellious

so on and so forth, the possibilities are endless. Can anyone answer why this is happening? The most probable answer is no. The sec 3s would say that it is the sec 4s fault and vice-versa. Thus, we cannot arrive to a satisfied conclusion. So what I am suggesting here is that this problem must be solved through the aid of both parties.

The key answer to this problem is attitude . See how I emphasize on the word. Actually, this is the key answer to most of the daily problems each of everyone of us face. Think about your schoolwork, can you achieve great marks without putting in effort. Answer is simple, no. This has to do with your attitude, with the correct attitude, you will want to study if you know there is an upcoming test.

Let us take AQ training as an example. What kind of attitude is shown during trainings? Some might be enthusiastic, some might be bored of it, and some might be grudging about it. What differentiate them is their attitude. Those who has set a target of becoming a champion will be enthusiastic about the trainings and give me constructive ideas to improve the structure and programs of the trainings. The other 2 categories belong to those who have no dreams or goals for themselves.
Setting a target is a way to become successful, it is like a guideline to assure that you are on the path to victory.

Then some might question if I am in the position to talk to you such a topic when me myself may not be a good role model. Yes, truthfully, everyone has their limitations and we do make mistakes. Making mistakes is not everything, what matters is that you learn from your mistakes. My mistake was not being enthusiastic or rather being slack. This is a fact that I cannot deny. However, realizing my mistake ,I started to correct my mistake since the beginning of the year. My new resolution is to be more hardworking as you all know that I am having my O'level this year. I will have no room for slacking. Hence I have devoted most of my remaining time to make AQ a success. This will not be possible if you all are showing me the wrong attitude.

Anyway to conclude this section, I will share this quote with you will " To err is human".

Secondly, the other batch of sec 3s which I would like to commend about is those who have slogging their hearts out for the company. These few people, like Keane and mngjun etc whom i can entrust my tasks to. They are able to carry out their instructions and also able to make decision when the situation forces them to. This is what the company needs to improve our standard.

Many of you might think our company are falling. Now I need to ask you, what makes you think so? It might be true, it might be false, it all depends how you see it. I will see that our company are actually undergoing a crisis which would eventually grow into a stronger force.

Quoting straight from the cover page," To have great adventure and survive require good judgment. Good judgment comes from experience. Experience, of course, is the result of poor judgment." So don't give up,, we can work together as one to accompany our company through this downfall period, and you will reap the fruits of success eventually.

Last of all, what I am trying to tell you all is, give everyone the respect they are due. What you give is what you take. Step in our shoes and spare a thought for everyone, instead of whining like a woman or act like a baby. This will give everyone a more pleasant day, and a more conducive environment for everyone to work with. I hope this will give each and everyone of us a wakeup call, be it the sec 4s, or the sec 3s...

Remember winning AQ is the only option and it cannot be done without all of your support. Thank you for your attention.

I have the power to make changes and I will use it till the end to secure our victory.

Romans 8:31 - 34
31) What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32) He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33) Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? it is God who justifies.34) Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died-more than that, who was raised to life- is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Remember: Everything is all in your mind. Do not be discouraged by the point that our team may not be as good as last year. Keep your heads up, have faith in ourself and our fellow teammates. We all can do it, as long as we focus on our target and be self-disciplined. Aim high, reach high.

Form of communication

After last few months of trainings, i realised the communication between us is breaking down. So I have proposed a new idea to deal with this problem. The LINK.

1) Whenever there is a training, the blog will probably be updated (or at least i hope so).
2) Next, i will contact via sms /phone call/ msn etc. with the team captain, information will then be assimilated to him.
3) He will inform the respective team leaders about the details.
4) Team leaders will then pass down to their team members.

Lastly, i hope this would prevent anyone from not receiving any information about any oncoming training. Attendance is very important. 3 demerit points would be given generously to any absentee without submitting any valid reason. You shall give your M.C. and excuse letter to either SGT Joel Ng or to Mr Poh directly. Last but not least, if anyone of you notice in the schedule that that is an oncoming training but have yet to receive any details on the blog or from your respective leaders, PLEASE INFORM ME. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
