This is me, Song Leng.
I've been hovering around, omniscently observing the going-ons in the entire affair we dearly call AQ.
Just like the title of this post, there are many many issues I have yet, but will address.
I have put in place a committee that is responsible for planning and bringing forth the AQ as a whole so that the seemingly elusive prospect of winning becomes within reach.
I have a Chairman.
I have Vice-Chairmen in charge of Administration and also discipline.
Yet as a whole, AQ has seen little or no progress.
And mutterings of "AQ very boring"; "AQ sianz" have reached me. I don't understand.
I mean, hey, instead of one man running the whole show, we've installed 3 (and more) supposedly experienced Sec3s soon to be lofty Secondary Fours come January and yet we have this.

Leadership

We have leaders in AQ who are also helming the company.
Progress at the very least is to be expected from them. But what one would call our stage now is "stagnant".
Is there any positive movement in the team and the planning?
Has there been any substantial interaction that has or would have reaped any value in morale or even proficiency at maybe the most surface - skills training?
I wonder.
I am greatly displeased.
This is not a harsh tone. This is a clear message directed at those who are in positions to make a difference and yet are not doing so.

I have asked for proposals and simple documents or bits of information that are of consequence to the entire AQ movement.
But I have not received news of any of the tasks I've set to date, and instead of being informed on the daily going-ons in AQ, rather, I have to go down to ground level to gain feedback and assume the role of pestering for proposals instead of waiting for the proposals to come to me.
Can this be acceptable?

I will be frank.
A committee might not be as efficient as I thought.
With a brethren, the members work within a box. their own boxes. And as long as they do sufficiently in their own boxes, its enough. What bull.
And as long as they do their own measly part, they do not give any care to any other influential bit of their comrade's work which definitely is important to AQ.
And so they rely on each other and in instances do not start working until somebody has begun first.
And normally, nobody starts working at all.
Can things be done?

I am very agitated.
I instituted a committee to lessen the burden of the hefty AQ on one person and in the middle of things, this happens.
I am still waiting for documents that are vital for AQ events later.
And the committee is non-chalant.
And it angers me to think that some of them will not be or are not responsive to my constant badgering.
I've had enough!

I WANT THINGS DONE. AND DONE WHEN I WANT THEM.
Coming from leaders, this foul attitude is mortifying.
Now if the people in question have understood everything I've said, it's time for some bloody action instead of still sitting on your buttocks at home.

I want several things. I'll be tolerant enough to list them:

- the entire AQ 2007 next of kin list.
-the AQ 2007 Budget Proposal
-every other document relevant to the pending MOck Race.
-every other document relevant to anything AQ.

I want to see all the leaders of the AQ committee tomorrow during your orientation training.

General Attitudes

Now I do know that the morale of the AQ team is at an all time low.
Activities are un-captivating and do not appeal.
There is no life, only monotony.
Break the monotony. by your own innovation and ideas.
AQ is not run only by those in posts, but also every single Boy.
You run the AQ, you Run the AQ.

Now if you've seen something flawed in AQ, do something to fix that flaw. Secondary 2s who'll be Sec 3 next Jan, you need to work TOO.

Lastly,
if any of you aren't happy with anything, take it up with the people with the ability to change things.
And my intrusion into this blog isn't something I intended, but things have reached a point where I will show my violent nature soon.
Mr. Chairman, less talk, more action.
Same for the rest of you, committee or Boys alike.
