An addition to the below post, I would like to make myself clear, in any case of Boys thinking that I am either very slack or very easygoing. I would hereby too make things known to all the people who did not really know what have happened, or still in the dark. This includes people like Victor, Jonathan and the rest of the sec 4s who did not turn up, be it one reason or another.

Today, 6th February 2007, AQ was canceled due to a few reasons. This decision was made by me, Chia Cherng Ru, and me alone. If it was a lousy decision or a not supported one, I hereby apologize and plead that you will continue reading this post.

There are like I said some reasons in which I have considered before canceling today's training.

  1. Sec3s said that they have alot of tests.
  2. None of the Boys changed and some of the Boys did not bring their PT kit.
  3. Attitude
Overall, lots of sec3s said that they have lots of test this week, at first, I was skeptical about letting them, as with regards to my 3 years in participation of AQ, there was none single training that we ask to be excused due to tests, etc. Then, taking a step back, I feel that yes, perhaps, taking a day off out of so many training may not be as a drastic thing, and then thinking yes, indeed there have been alot of training and BB activities, and yes. It maybe affecting your studies.

Next then, another thing that made me reconsider whether to let you off was your attitude. I was the earliest to reach the concourse in blue PT. Imagine my shock when i reach there. I took so long to reach there, and there was literally not a single soul wearing blue there. Then, I made my way to look for the Boys, in which then the Boys told me about their tests. There I see them in their full uniform, some injured, some sick, some really wanted to go home. The attendance of the people there and the number of enthusiasms was very little. I then thought a bit more. since the attendance of the people there was so limited, the Boys so wanted to go home and study, even if I forced them, they would not have their heart fully concentrated on the training. At that point, the training itself will then be rendered useless. Hence, deciding upon letting the boys off.

If this decision goes ills to anybody, please come and find me and find me alone. In addition, when talking to me about this, please respect me as you would want others to respect you.

IN ADDITION
Do you all read me?

Reflections
I admit, perhaps I have done wrong and i sincerely apologize if i have cause anyone to lose his nerves, and to those whom I hope have laid in anticipation of today's training.

Note

Please try to buck up and keep your priorities right. Balance your daily stuff and BB. Try not to skip one for the other. Keep your heads up, attitude straight, morale high. Lets us be determined to finish what we have started. And I repeat. There will hopefully be no next time.

Thanks

P.S. Theres no need for excuse letters. And please, for the next time, study in advance and remember. Balance your time please.
